"BEFORE THE JOB" Preparations

  • Make sure you decide which direction the planks or tiles should be laid and share this information with the salesperson and the installer before the installation begins.
  • Nick nacks and other small items should be removed from shelves and other areas prior to the installers arrival.
  • Pictures or other items hanging on a wall should also be removed prior to installation.
  • Computers and other electronics should be disconnected and when possible moved by the customer. Our installers will gladly help with heavy televisions or other similar pieces of equipment.
  • If we are installing a floor where quarter-round is located, we will try to carefully remove the existing quarter-round and place it back once the new floor is installed. Existing quarter-round becomes brittle over time and some areas may have to be replaced. Quarter-round may require touch-up by the customer after installation. We also offer replacement quarter-round installation which is included in all quotes.
  • Our installation prices include moving furniture and removal of old flooring when appropriate. We do ask that our customers move small pieces of furniture, i.e. table chairs, and other types of furniture that can be easily moved by one person.
  • If we are removing an existing floor, our installers will take the old floor with them – not leave it in your front yard for pickup.
  • We do not make cuts inside your house in an effort to cut down on dust. We will need a dry area such as a garage, porch or other dry covered area to make cuts.

ACCEPTED PAYMENTS

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express through PAYPAL as well as cash and checks.

FOR RESIDENTIAL JOBS: We ask for a material deposit which is used for purchasing all needed materials for the job as well as securing the date for your install. This deposit is calculated at the time of the free estimate and usually accounts for 50% of the total job (sometimes less). We then ask for the balance upon completion of the job. There will still be a deposit needed EVEN IF you supply your own material. Thanks!

FOR COMMERCIAL JOBS: All commercial jobs have a payment schedule which is pre-determined at the time of the free estimate.
